V modernih pogonih električnih avtomobilov so močnostni moduli glavna komponenta. Pravilno načrtovanje z bakrom pokritih keramičnih modulov je zelo pomembno, saj zmanjšuje izgubo moči in omogoča dolgo življenjsko dobo izdelka. Osnova za močnostne module je lahko 2D ali 3D keramična struktura, ki zagotavlja planarizacijo povezovalne ravnine in zmanjša debelino plasti med močnostnim elementom in hladilnikom. Tipični materiali uporabljeni za osnovo so LTCC keramika, Alumina in Aluminijev nitrid.
